Today is Mother's Day. Early in the morning, my father, my older brother, my nephew [Tobias], and I woke up and gathered in the living room. We waited for my mother and my sister-in law joined us. A looks-delicious-black forest was on the table. When my mom and sister-in-law approached living room, they looked surprised.
Last year, I sent an SMS to my mom, congratulating her a Happy Mother's Day. I was in Malaysia, couldn't go home even for Christmas. I apologized because I could give her nothing. But, she replied [quickly], "All your love is an everlasting gift for me."
I realized, love is not just about loving or caring. If you love somebody, you will do the best for him/her. I love my mom. Maybe I could not text her even once a week, maybe I did not remember her every single day, maybe I did not show how deep I care about her, but I do love her. I tried to do what she wants, I tried to not hate her when she was angry, I tried to feel what she feels.
Love is not just about loving or caring. Love is just love, which always has ways to make someone happy. That is love. Happy Mother's Day, Mom. I loved you, I love you, and I always will.
