Today is the first day of final exam week of first semester!
I came to school with smile because it was going to be lazy week for me. As a school counselor, it is my duty, yet my responsibility, to help students getting their problems solved. Fights, theft, school rules breaking, academic stuffs, etc., etc... Teachers sent their students to my room. I sent them back to class. Teachers and I have time to discuss their students, students and I sit together to gossip about their teachers.
But, for this week, it will be just me and my new carpet and cushions in my comfy counseling room. Teachers will be busy preparing and correcting students' tests. Students will be busy studying. I will have time to prepare my next semester program, my seminar materials, and my Christmas holiday! LoL....
But, o'oh! I met a home teacher at the vice principal office and we started a discussion about his student. Then, another home teacher came and joined the talk. Then, the first teacher went and made his table up. Another home teacher came and joined my discussion with the second teacher.
After a while, I went up to my room and sighed, "Oh, I will be as busy as before, thinking of my students and planning my next strategy."
This is exam week. Teachers will be busy. Students will also be busy. And I will be busy, too. Busy like a bee!!
